Katherine Stutz-Taylor is a
Printmaker and Multimedia Artist with two strong directions in her art, realism and symbolism. Her current etchings are edition
varieis that include hand coloring and chine collle. Her wood cut and
linoleum relief prints are images she has drawn and photographed. Printmaking has been a vibrant thread in her life since she began
over 30 years ago. Photography has been a part of her repertoire since
the early 1970's and her latest creative endeavor is her
jewelry.
Katherine currently teaches art in the Pajaro School
District and as a SPECTRA Artist. She has taught art in public schools,
as an Artist in Residence a Guest Artist and privately since 1986. Her work is collected privately worldwide and has been shown in
galleries in Santa Cruz, San Jose, San Francisco and other cities
throughout California and Reno Nevada. Widely traveled. her art blends
many cultures.
